The annual Hocus Pocus Festival brings magic to Granada with events for both the public and professionals. The third annual Villaricos Wacky Races brings together teams of energetic competitors racing pushcarts, vying for the Asprodalba Trophy and the honour of being Spain's "Wackiest Racer". The day-long event starts at 11:00 outside Taberna Cristina in the Villaricos village centre and includes a classic-car display, children's games, refreshments, a grand raffle and auction (including an autographed programme from the Noel Coward Theatre Calendar Girls show as well as Indalo Art jewellery by Melanie Bourne).
