Can anyone advise where i can purchase a fitted carpet from around the area of Mojacar, we are moving to a large house which doesnt have any tiles in the lounge and feel a nice warm carpet for the winter would be ideal but is about 90sqm its very large, i know its difficult in spain to find carpets but thought someone might know where i can buy at reasonable prices,

If not where i can buy very large wool rugs from?/

I am not sure where you could buy rugs in Mojacar.....probably a furniture shop, but in Albox there is a specialist rug shop just accross the road from Mercadona. I have a few and got them from various Spanish furniture shops.

If I was you I would wait until you move in as there is a reason you dont see carpet shops in Spain. The dust, sand and dirt.
I sweep every day and often remark "what if all this was in a carpet"!
I would go for a few huge rugs which in summer you can roll up & store away. If you are finding the cost massive along with the bed you are advertising for its maybe cheaper to transport both from the UK. Furniture isnt cheap in Spain and usually poor quality, infact most visitors are shocked at the price of everything.
